This is the exact knife they have at my place as “work knives”. (We have like 10 of them) They’re okay for rough cuts of vegetables and meat, and are still useable even after a lot of abuse. But they absolutely SUCK for cheese, finer cuts like chives, juliene, etc. And I hate how they handle for anything but bread.
So yea…bought myself a 50 euro santoku knife for 15 by using coupons, and started bringing that to work. It’s not an amazing knife, but still a lot better than the one in the pic.
